I got the intermittent S061 code which is the right front position sensor. Can I take this sensor and switch it with the left front and see if the problem follows the sensor. That would tell me if it was the sensor or the wiring. I am just unsure if the sensors can be swapped.

I have posted about this sensor. I don't know if you can switch them. Mine started off intermittent and then come everytime I started the car. About $384.00 from the dealer and around $200.00 from gmparts direct. My mechanic got me one from the junkyard and it has been on for about 4 months. The message has not come up since. He charged me $100.00 for the part and putting it in. Took him about 15 minutes. He put it on the lift and never had to remove the tire. I stopped working on cars 25 years ago. I hope this helps in some way.

Yes, you can switch them. In fact ALL 4 of them are interchangable with eachother.
