Feels Like a Bearing or Rotor, 2001 STS

I have an STS with 30,000 miles and during the last 2 months seems to have developed a shaking in the steering colume and front end, left side. The dealer could not 'detect' anything and I have had it checked by an independent mechanic for rotors. He claims he cannot see anything wrong. How can I apply the service bulletians that have come out for the front end when I go back to the dealer for service?

I had the same issue with my 2001 STS and there is a TSB on that problem. There is a lube kit for the front end that fixes the vibration in the steering shaft. Just have them do a search or ask their suspension tech about it. It is a common problem with an easy fix.

i have a similar issue with my 97. I just can't figure out where the vibration is coming from

It feels like most of the vibration is passed through the steering wheel or the pedals.
