    Salvageyard Suspension?

    How good of an idea is it to buy a used (48k miles) suspension from a salvageyard? The price is right I just want to know if it's an ok buy. Thanks

    As long as the car hasn't been thrashed underneath, it may be a great idea. Several of my vehicles have wrecking yard suspension pieces; they are simply used parts, which is what our cars are made of.

    Examine the pieces carefully and if they are in good shape, I don't see any reason not to.
