94 Deville vibrating rear brake - R&R question....

The pink panther is giving off a vibration form the right rear corner when braking.
At first I thought it was the anti-lock braking - but now I am thinking a warped rotor....

Has anyone had a similar experience??

I read that a special tool is required to R&R the brake pads or rotate the pistons.....

Something about the antilock brake system.

Is this job still capable for a wrench twister who has rebuilt a mazda motor years back and maintained a fleet of Volvo 240's for 15 years???

Do parts places rent this tool or is it reasonable to buy??

    Thanks in advance

the tool is rentable but youcan utilize a pair of needle nose pliers to turn the piston back inthe caliper ....if your thinking of doing the rotors too lemme fill you in on a little surprise cadillac has waiting for you ...you have to remove the caliper braket fromt eh car to get the rotor off , its held onby 2 monster bolts that i couldnt get loose with a 24 inch 1/2 inch drive breaker bar...

never the less to say , ive got two brand spanking new rotors for this car i cant put on myself without more and bigger tools

I had perhaps the worst experience of this kind in my life getting my calipers off. I have mentioned it before, but when looking at the threads, they seemed to have rolled the steel into little balls as the surfaces dragged. It may have been some kind of lock-tight product, but if it was they did not intend ordinary mortals to undo them.

They were as hard to turn half way through as breaking them in the first place. Totally horrendous
