    84 eldo suspension question

I have a 84 eldorado and the last 2 weeks or so the air from the compressor lets out and drops in the rear. I dissconnected the compressor and filled it with air about 3 months ago but the last 2 weeks its been doing it and not even a machanic has been able to tell me a reason why the air just goes out. Thanks 4 any feedback

    Re: 84 eldo suspension question

    Your description doesn't make sense.

But in either case, might have an air leak somewhere. The compressor assembly itself can have a slow leak. Or the air lines, or the shocks themselves.

Normally, the compressor shoud come on and pump up the airshocks from time to time.

There is a sensor attached to the rear left training arm which tells the compressor to turn on if the car stis too low. It actually turns on a relay which then kicks the motor on. The sensor can also activate the exhaust solenoid if the car sits too high.

Any of those things could also be bad...
