    STIFF RIDE--94 Eldorado

my car, 94 Eldo, seems to have a stiffer ride over bumps than before. There are no codes listed. The tires are properly inflated and have not been changed. If the suspension has locked itself in the trouble mode (stiff ride) is there a way to bring it back to the normal default?

I've got a similar problem with my 96 deville. It seems that you can feel every bump in the road. Other models I've been in seem more cloud-like (what you'd expect). I just want to know if I can check my suspension or do I have to change the struts to restore the ride.

Have you check the bushings and struts/strut mounts? it's amazing the difference they make in the car's ride... I had the same problem, stiff ride and a sense of diminished handling, in my case that was the solution.
