Will 26" rims fit on 02 Escalade?

I'm looking to put some 26" rims on my 02 Lade. I have stock suspension and plan on keeping it that way.

Will those fit on there? If so, any idea what size tire to go with to get the best ride, and minimal rubbing?

How wide of a rim should I go with?

I guess I'm looking for someone that has or have had 26's on their escalade. Keep in mind, it's an 02.
