    02 Seville - Replacing air shocks with regular shocks

    Does anyone have information on whether air shocks on an 02 Seville can be replaced iwth regular shocks? And if so, an estimate of how difficult and what the cost might be? Thanks!

    Is your car the SLS or STS ??? Different suspensions. Early 2002 STS or later production - different suspensions.

    Gabriel and Monroe make manually inflatable shocks to replace the original equipment Electronic Level Control shocks. Look in www.rockauto.com - use the RPO sticker under the spare tire cover to determine which suspension system you have - F45/FE1 is soft ride, F45/FE3 is sport tuned, F55/FE3 is sport tuned Magnetic Ride Control

    If your car has a build date after 01/15/02 then you have F55 - Magnetic Ride Control and there is no satisfactory passive alternative for that.
