    Best Brake Caliper Anti-Seize/Grease Compound?

I'm looking for advise as far as what is the best grease to use on caliper slide pins. I've heard good things about SIL-GLIDE and Permatex Anti-Seize Lube. I'm interested in the expert's experience as far as which or any other performs the best.

    Thanks in advance!

I like Permatex products for no particular reason. Caliper pin lube all comes out of the same synthetic pipe. I have also used good ol' lead-copper-tin-grease based anti-seize.

I also like Permatex products, but I'm not sure what you mean by this as I've been finding all sorts of different compounds. SIL-GLYDE is a white silicone grease with no metal added as far as I can tell whereas the Permatex is a petroleum based product with aluminum and graphite added:

Info on Sta-Lube it has moly, zinc, and graphite compounds in it:

    MSDS:

I have heard that many OEMs use this Never Seez material that is copper and aluminum based:

This seems to be a better Permatex product, claims to be synthetic but not silicone based but they don't tell what it actually is. MSDS claims that it is a trade secret, LOL! No mention of any metals included:

I tend to avoid materials where I have no idea what is in them, unless there are reliable reports of superior performance.
