    Aftermarket Suspension

    Hi

I was thinking about upgrading my suspension to an aftermarket system, I want something where I have can change the ride height, and feel of the suspension, one that has a system that is compatable with the onboard computers in my car so I don't have warrning lights and messages flashing all over the car. Of course the system has to better than the current one by that I mean more comfortable, and improves the cars handling.

Any ideas? Oh by the way I drive a 2008 STS V8, air ride I believe.

Does anyone have any first hand knowledge of either or these suspension kits.

This kind of setup will not interface to your current dashboard setup. Basically you have to bypass the factory setup. A regular airbad setup will not have as much performance as your current setup when it comes to handling. The ride quality will not be as good either. I have installed many air ride and hydraulics set ups.

Actually, for a 2008 "STS", you would be better off posting way up ^^^ in the new model "STS" threads. There's a lot of action up there............but the ghost is correct - aftermarket and airbag suspensions, particularly for these electronically controlled vehicles, are a far cry from the real factory suspensions.

Those airbag suspension setups are more for the lowrider guys like me (although I dislike bags and perfer hydraulics)
