system suspension-motor mount?

system suspension light on. mechanic said main motor mount. how much and where can i get this fixed in chicago. mechanic said he dont know if he can even do it

I don't doubt that your motor mount is broken. However, a broken motor mount will not set a suspension light. Post your suspension codes, perhaps we can be some help then. As far as your motor mount goes the cost of the part is somewhere around $150, and labor should be around $150 too.

I'd be finding a new mechanic if he can't change your motor mount. I'm not sure the differences between my old 95 and the new ones, took me an afternoon to replace a lower mount on mine, including driving a 60 mile round trip to get the part.
