i currently owned cadillac deville dhs 2001, by all those years, i had dealing with the problem of the height of the rear suspension, so i was doing some research on the net, i found the strutmaster upgrade, so permanely dis-engage the the air rear suspension, by permanetly fixed strut conversion. my height problem was solved, but after installed they warning message on the dash board turn me crazy, they sent 2 diferents adapters or emulator to supose to came with a resistor to fix the problem, but in the way i see none of them fit or socket of the line came from the pcm to the air pump unit.
the problem my friend is, there's 2 types of shock system
one air shocks, that do not have electrical conector, and other DTS that have electrical connector to each rear shocks. mine only have one line on each one of air. Air tube coming from the air pump. the only electrical part that i guess to be related to the warning message on the dash SERVICE STABILITY SYSTEM, may is the leveling sensor that only have on on the rear driver wheel. only has 3 wire, 1 ground, 1- signal, and other 5volts reference. i have try out the resistor they provide me with the kit it's a resistor of 18ohm 1wat. i have put between ground and signal cable, and the dash still telling me the message.
any help with ?
