RS0016 after Arnott Strut replacement

After replacing my OEM struts with Arnott passive struts I am now getting a RS0016 trouble code. Anyone know what could be causing this or what exactly it means? Arnott sent me a new sensor but after switching it between both the drive and passenger side and clearing the codes, the code continues to return.

Arnott has been unresponsive on this issues. I am greatly disappointed with these shocks at this point.
