Front Breaks 95 Eldorado

My caliper on the front driver's side isn't working right. I have put on new calipers, rotors and pads on both sides and still a problem. When I step on the break the car pulls hard to the right. The left caliper wont engage and also wont disengage. The pads just rub against the rotor and get hotter and hotter. I don't think I'm leaking fluid, and both sides have been bleed. There may be some kind of vaccum leak but how do I find it. Any ideas would be great. Thanks.

Re: Front Breaks 95 Eldorado

Replace the flex hoses going to both front calipers. They can flake off internally and restrict fluid flow.

Talking Re: Front Breaks 95 Eldorado

Thanks. I'm going to replace both tomorrow. I've done break before, but never the hoses. Is the job pretty cut and dry or are there any tricks that I should know about? I'll make sure to post again on my results. Thanks for the help.

Re: Front Breaks 95 Eldorado

Just make sure to use the proper wrenches to break the hoses loose. By that I mean, flare nut wrenches. You dont want to round off the fittings.
