Suspension, Brakes and Tires Discussion, 22" rims w/ eibach springs on devilles in Item Specific Cadillac Discussion; ok i've looked around online, for a while now and my question is will 22's fit on a 00-05 deville ...
ok i've looked around online, for a while now and my question is will 22's fit on a 00-05 deville or DTS (i own a 00 dts) with minor rubbing to none at all, because i've chatted with HITMONEY who's been a great help, who owns a DTS, w/ eibachs and 20's on it, but from what i've seen here i think only one person in this forum has said that 22's fit with minor rubbing and eibachs installed (KINGVINNIE), as long as its the right offset and 30 size tires, but is he literally the only person that has tried on this forum lol? because i already have the eibach springs, now im just trying to figure out if the 22's wont give me much problems once there on, as for what people think of the look itself please dont hate, because to each its own and everyone has there own views and opinions on what they think looks good or bad, my preference is 22's and dropped lol
hope someone can help, or for that matter even someone that has already done it.. thanx

Re: 22" rims w/ eibach springs on devilles
I know of two people personally that have 22s on 2000+ Devilles air bagged on all 4 corners that have rubbing problems on bumps and turns at slow speeds. Worst problem is clearing the top of the fender through a turn or the suspension articulating through a turn. So good luck with the fit...
aight well i did it.. and the car looks sick, only real problem is i found a pair of used 22's for literally $700 with tires, which i knew would be a b*tch to work with, but i figured for the price oh well..
i did have to roll the fenders and quarter panels, and unfortunately the rims have 255 tires, and beside the fact that they're pretty wide (22x9.5) only tires that fit in the front are 245's, so im going to have to buy 2 tires for the front because they do rub on the insides, but other then that i didnt have any problems, and anyone knows if your riden on 30's its going to be a rougher ride.. but hey it all depends on what you consider difficult and hard to do, and what your willen to live with.. everyone knows once you start puttin sh*t on that wasnt designed for the car when it was produced is eventually going to give problems of some sort.. but we still do it.
