The fluid had to have really bad.....

Looked at that website, and looks like a good procedure.. Speed vacuum bleeders make life so much easier...

Matthew, I'm glad it went well for you. A lot of people don't realize how bad or older fluid can have a negative effect on their braking performance.

Not to mention it is hell on all your brake parts espeically ABS actuator!!!

Do the cheap stuff ($20 in fluid/bleeders) to save buying the expensive stuff ($500+ for the ABS unit)

Brake fluid should be pretty much clear... Maybe a slight yellow hue...

the fluid should be clear, mine was very dark like coke. very easy to do. I bought a big bottle of brake fluid for $4.75 and 87 cents of clear hose.

just follow the directions of the website and youll be ok. Just be careful so you dont bust off a bleeder. My rear bleeders were alittle tough to crack open so I soaked them with wd40.

I still recommend using a speed bleeder... Harbor frieght has them for like $30.. All you do is open the bleeder and pump.. The hardest part is taking off the wheels...

I was just at Harbor Freight, today. I wish I knew they had them. I'd love to try them.
