    Is Anybody Rplacing Bushings?

I have a '96 STS with 128K miles. I am going to replace my 4 shocks, front ball joints and F/R stabilizer links with OEM models, my question is should I also replace the bushings, particularly the rear bushings?

I plan on taking the front control arm out of the car to do the ball joints even though you don't have to (so new bushings are no problem), but what about the the rear carriage bushing (the big one)? Currently, the rear bushing rubber has small cracks from what I can see. I wonder if that means they need replacement.

Thanks for any advice in advance.

Nothing beats an old worn part better than a new part. It seems to me that with the extensive work your getting ready to do it can't hurt to replace another bushing that "has small cracks."

With all that you're doing, why not do the rear bushings? It just makes good sense.
