hello everyone
Ive got a a/c problem in my 78 deville,
what happens is when you are driving the car with the a/c on
it will run ice cold and then will get warm and uncomfortable:helpless: ,
I don't think its low of freon,(no visable leaks,newer a/c delco compressor A/6)
plus when it works it will freeze you tail off!!!
:banghead:
So if any one out there know what the problem could be please reply to this thread
thanks , tripleyellow78cad

It's a vacumm leak somewhere probably behind the dash somewhere. My Z does that too. It'll run ice cold until you give it a certain amount of throttle then it gets warm.

that was my thought too,
i was thinking of adding an inline check valve but i can't find the vacume line/hose that goes in to the climate control , any idea where i can locate it?
and if a check valve wont work what about adding an eletric vacume pump?
thanks for you reply:)

well i un pluged a set of wires on my programmer (behind the glove box)
and the a/c blows cold all the time and never warms up, hope i wont damage anything,
now when you move the climate control to 85 it stays on a/c :wtf: :fan:
well if i break it at least i had cold a/c for a while:hmm:
