ok, been wanting a nice awd sedan so of course the STS4 caught my eye. Ive found a '05 with 55k miles for 17k. Is that a good deal first of all? The dealer wont budge one dollar off the price as Ive tried a couple times. I also have a '97 Eldorado ETC that Im trying to sell or trade in. It only has 64,xxx miles and is in great shape but the dealer said they would only give me $2k for it (no f'n way Im giving that car up for $2k) I have it listed for $5500 obo as that seems fair. So, any help/advice would be appreciated. thanks guys
Sell the Eldo on your own. I used to have a 2002 etc by the way. White diamond. Someone else should tell you about the price on the sts but it absolutely seems high to me.
Hi, I bought my white diamond 05 STS v8 4 with 71k for $14k. He wanted $15k which is what kbb said was average. I'm so happy with my car and worth every penny of luxury. Wow!
thanks guys, I'll keep looking but its been tough to find one with less than 60k miles for under $17k. Am I worried for nothing for the car to have 60-70k miles? Is getting the gmpp warranty a good idea in case anything goes wrong? I usually never get an extended warranty as it seems theyre not worth it but maybe in this case ??
You can't get a GMPP warranty unless the car is still in factory warranty. After the factory coverage expires you are SOL. GMPP will extend the factory coverage but not with a gap in between.
