Just bought a 07 and when i go out and start in the morning i hear ticking in the motor for a couple of minutes. To me it sounds like lifter ticking until oil gets to them. Once it it starts to warm up no more noise. Had anyone experienced this issue? It has 67000 miles on it. Is there warranty on 07 powertrain to 100,000 miles? Thanks for any info. Matt
Yes, your vehicle should still have the 5 year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty which is standard to all GM vehicles form 2007 onward. I would suggest that you have the vehicle looked at at your local dealership. They would be able to diagnose and fix the issue for you.
I was looking in the glove box at warranty and all i could find was 4 yr 50,000.
I thought GM had 100,000 on drivetrain.
