Any Good DFW Area Mechanics You'd Recommend To Rebuild a '76 500 cid???????????
There is a place way out in New Mexico that specializes in this....but I'd hate to do that...
Is there anyone here in the DFW Metroplex that knows 500's front and back and could do a good rebuild?
I'd like to take out that massive motor and see if I can massage more than the paltry 190 horsepower that it was rated at back in 76. It's probably generating 80 horses now 30 years later...
I'm not trying to built it up into a rat motor or anything.....just would like to do what I can to have the best value and best benefit rebuild possible.
