Went up to VIR last October with Car Guys and had an absolute blast! I was the only Cadi there and got quite a few funny looks, but by the end of the day most of those looks turned to surprise at how well the car ran around the track (even with a bad driver like me!).

I did have my '07 STS-V there and it was a great time. I wrote about the experience in this post not too long after the trip to VIR:

Sorry lost the thread.... I was at VIR with some of the forum guys in fall (chin) Did a ride along with Truck but didnt drive my car. I have done a few track days on my bike (SVS) but never in a car. I want to hit one on a slow day. Some of the more experanced guys suggested Mazda... PM me if you go back, I work ALOT and dont keep up with the beat.

Hey guys, I posted a thread about this, but I thought I'd drop in here and say hi to everyone down here.

I'm based out of Raleigh but currently in Greenville, SC. I'd like to meet up with a CTS-V to take some measurements...you could meet us at our partner tuner's shop in Durham...we'll see if we can get you a dyno tune while you're there

Aside from that, I'd like to come out to a meet once I'm back in Raleigh...while I don't own a CTS-V I've always loved them and have worked on them (and every car with an LSX)...my car is an 04' GTO with plenty of mods (yeah, I now GTO's are ugly, but not when you know how to fix the looks, trust me

Oh, and if you guys wan to do a dyno day for the V's we could probably arrange something for ya near Raleigh!
