How much time should we allow for this whole in terms of a timeline? I will be happy to be the contact for this thing since it seems that I am organizing this thing. I really do appreciate any help you can give us.
Where exactly is this? I am thinking if the group agrees, about 5pm.
Bob
By the way, congrats on the baby.
http://old-town.com/ here is the link to there web site. The contact that I have always dealt with is Amy Walsh. If we get the exact date and pretty quick I will be able to help you with this end of it and getting the usually spot. I am thinking the begining of May would be the best like May 3rd or very end of April. Stay away from the 10th because the 11th is Mothers Day. As far as time 4:00 PM sounds good. I know a group of us from Tampa have all met at the Flying J and did the Drive over that was always fun.

I am hoping if we go with the first Saturday of May I should be fine, but being it is a C-Section you never know. As long as all goes as plan and no infections though it should be okay for us to make it.
If it is okay with everybody out there, we could go with Saturday, May 3rd at 4, if that is the standard time as Julie is saying. I definitely want Tom and Julie as they are a wonderful addition to the meet.
Julie, if you will please make the contact. I will send another thread out making the official annoucement. I hope to have a larger crowd out there. Kississimme is a good place to meet as we don't have to go to downtown Orlando.
The International Plaza, I felt was not such a great place, first of all, the parking was not very friendly for the meet itself, and too far away from the restaurants, and to get over there, you had to drive and parking was impossible. Also, there was a very long wait to get into the Cheesecake Factory. I am thinking along the lines of first meeting at let's say, Ed Morse Cadillac, if they will have us, and then going to Carrollwood for dinner. Another option would be to go to the Rusty Pelican next time around.
What do you all think about those plans?
You were not there for our last meet at the International Plaza (Tampa Mall Rats '06) it was a great meet, small though, but so much fun. We parked on the top of the Dillards parking garage, it was empty. Wait time for Cheesecake factory was a bit, but we were all together, it didn't matter.... my "it's all pink on the inside" comment kept everybody laughing
Anyway, Old Town is awesome, we've had plenty of great meets there. I see we have the other thread for it. Old Town is great for a big meet, but the International Plaza like last time was fine when we had about 8 of us, lotta fun.

I had a great time at International Plaza. I just thought we would try something different since there seems to be an interest in Kississimmi. I hope to have a huge showing there and I hope that we get some people from the Gold Coast and mid east coast of Florida as well. We need to far outclass the hotrods there.
