Currently the only vehicles I am aware of that can be easily tuned are the LT1, LSx (LS6, L92/LQ9/LQ4, etc), L03 (TBI 305) and L05 (TBI 350). There may be more, but those are the primary ones.
I do much tuning on my own, and I get lots of people asking about tuning. I would like to have a forum in a common place that we can encourage and support tuning and tuners for Cadillacs. If at all possible, a file respository for tuned and stock .bin files would be fantastic.
Please post your support and jingle Sal to let him know!
I would not mind moderating this forum if needed.
Thanks!! |

This sounds like a go - but I haven't heard anything from our "team" yet.. I'd like to. I'll leave this for another day or so to see what happens..

This is the kind of stuff that all those engine areas are for. If theres a lot of posts about it and there really needs to be another forum for it then there should just be a subforum in the different engines. And if there isnt a lot of posts about it then we obviously dont have to change anything. |

Lurk over to Impala SS Forum, the PCM Tuning area is pretty busy.
I don't think too many Cad owners realize they CAN tune thier ride. It might really strum up some new interests that aren't popular now, but I honestly get enough PM's to warrant it. I would rather the PM's be public a lot of the time where people could gain some new knowledge that they don't haved access to now.
Ever even think of tuning your 91? I currently host the free tuning software as a complete .zip file on my personal storage where people would be able to get it and start looking at their tunes and then I probably could keep all of the stock tunes there too. They are only 32k for cars like yours, 128K for 94-up LT1 cars. Probably only 512k for LS v8's, maybe even smaller for them. I haven't really paid attention for them yet. |

Thanks for playing the Devil's Advocate. It does appear that this new forum might work out. I suppose it's not really changing anything - so if it doesn't, we could just close it up. So no real harm done either way..
In the event that we DO do this - how about we just move the engine forums to their own "Engine/Motor Tech" area and include this new forum in with them? That would be a pretty clean-cut way of adding a new forum while keeping everything together (in the same category)...
