Thanks! Must have been a glitch--i just replied to another thread and it went ok.What sucks is the reply that did`nt go through took me 8 minutes to type---all for nothing.

That has happened to me a number of times after I have typed up a long reply to post. Discovered that if I just refresh the page on my browser, it doesn't delete my "reply to thread box" with my message in it and if you hit "submit reply" again after the page is refreshed it has always gone through for me at that point.
The problem occurrs if I have a thread open thinking to reply and then I go away from the computer for a while and then come back to continue typing my "reply to thread". But now I just use this work around.
