Im on a very fast connection, and this forum is still very slow, then it randomly will redirect me to a blank "your search did not match any documents" page. WTF. |

I believe the problem began last evening, as I began to notice slower page loads when the bid. url abbreviation was displayed in the lower left corner of my FF pages. |

Out of all the forums and web sites I go to on a daily basis this has got to be the slowest loading site EVER. As if its not bad enough, has anyone noticed a drastic slowdown is the last week? It's brutal trying to read all the updated posts. |

In any event, we've removed many ads and improved performance on the server side.. There just comes a point where when there are so many people browsing the site, things move slowly.. |

I know the ads pay for this site.
Can the ads be turned off with a paying membership?
This site used to load much quicker a few months ago---even for non-paying members. What has changed since then? |

If i had some extra $$$ i`d get a paying membership here and turn off the ads.
I feel sorry for anyone with a dial-up or even a DSL connection on this site.It would take 5-10 minutes per page to load with dial-up.
I`ve got cable Comcast high speed internet with a superfast 3.4 GHZ cpu and it still hangs, sometimes 50 seconds or more for 1 page to load---and it only happens at this site. | | Tags | complaint, discussion, issue, link, load, loads, long, page, place, redirect, running, site, slow, slows, speed, stupid, things | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
