I need to get to the bottom of the security token error issue. Please post here letting me know what you did to get the error.

I HAVE made some changes today. I hope they make a difference...

Either try clearing ALL your cadillacforums.com cache and cookies - or use a different browser from now until you receive one again. Chances are, you'll never receive another one.. It also CAN be your ISP's cache...

I'm getting the feeling the security token errors have become less common.. Am I mistaken?

I just got an error while posting an answer in the lounge. Vista and IE7.

It worked OK a little later.

I'm registered and try to use the site. Why do I keep being refused entry? It gets tiring having to resign every time I try.

I'm still getting the errors as well.. At one point or another, we're going to have to disable ALL options besides basic forum posting - to figure out where the issue lies...

After an hour of so of composing a post, I received the security token error message. I had selected bold face for several selections. Fortunately, I was able to save the text to a notepad file. I tried removing the boldface tags and re-posting and received the error message again. I then backed out of the thread, refreshed the page, and posted again without the boldface selections and was successful!

Could the length of time that I spent preparing the first post have been a factor?

This may sound like a dumb question, but so far I am unable to find a edit button to allow me to edit a post. Where is it?

The edit button is only there for a limited time; it appears on the bottom right of the post, near the "quote" button. When it "times out", it disappears along with the ability to edit the post.
