This latest one that uses the lamest tricks in the book like the jiggling window with the "you are the 1,000,000th customer" is crossing the line.
Not only is it designed for retards that click anything that moves, but now it grabs hold of my system sounds and beeps or warns every few seconds.
I find that to be intolerable.
Not sure if we can get them to modify their ad, I know they are a necessary evil but I am really getting irritated that the ad is playing my system sounds.

I browse differently than most folks.
When I come here I hit the "new posts" button, that shows me all topics in all areas. I sort through by titles so I can help the most people on the forums.
Anything that catches my eye or has my name in it, particularly my specialty areas, I answer.
Whenever I do a search I get ads on the top of each page and when I click forward or back through the results I get the ads and it really irks me. It is probably a one in seven situation for me.
Not to say that the forum should be adjusted for my preferences, just don't use ads that make noise.
Pretty inappropriate. |

That's horrible. I though that kind of shit was banned. Most advertising opportunities will specify what's allowed and what's not. It doesn't look like the source of that ad-space does so, whatever network it is. Only time I'd click that ad would be to use MD5 on the advertiser. |

It shakes and emits the windows warning bong every couple of seconds (the one that goes off when an error message appears). It appears frequently on the search results page. |
