It is those wonderful middle of nowhere breakdowns I hate.. they always, of course, cost five times as much as they would if you were home when they happened
Far as I can remember...Poker ain't going anywhere...so there is no need to drive 80 unless you have tons of money.

My 88 IROC has an oil leak, a tranny that won't shift into 3rd at WOT, brakes that smell of burning and is in dire need of an alignment.

But I wouldn't hesitate to drive 1100 miles in it.
It would get there no problem.

So if an old IROC can do it, surely a Caddy can?

Would you fly or drive the Cad??
    It's a 1990 Seville with *around* 130k on it...
Plane ticket costs $300 gas costs around $175

Keep in mind that I don't drive fast any more I go about 80 on the highway so it'll be a long trip..
but I love driving this car.
My 93 Deville with 150K the motor fell out and I lost steering SCARY SHIT. Check the Cradle mounts make sure they are not rotted. Luckily I was only going 20-30 or I would probally be hurt bad or worse. Engine broke steering colum on the way down.
