I feel the same about the mid-nineties Fleetwoods... Only fleets for me are the pre-nineties generation. Some members here do have some very gorgeous mid nineties Fleets, but to me that entire era of GM big body cars just didnt look right... they almost had a "squished" appearance in how they seemed to bulge out from the sides. Add in the resemblance to the Roadmaster and it just didnt do it for me.
Any Fleetwood up to 91 though... Im game!
In that sense, I like the TC better. It may not have any exciting features to the outside but well... thats kind of the beauty of it too... simple elegant and more timeless design. The key is those thinner clear-lens jewel headlamps. The larger headlamp models do look dated now. Also you cant go wrong with that 4.6 motor. I had that thing in my 96 Continental and it was the only thing on the car that never gave a hint of trouble, and it was pretty badly abused.
