    i have the AS and the crutchfield kit is fairly close to stock texture and feel but color is slightly darker.

    I really miss all my old Alpine, Boston Acoustics Pro separates and Soundstream amps. Those were the good old days when that stuff costed a ton of money and sounded awesome. I just burned up my last MC245 and BA Pro separates that we're nearly 20 years old. My brother still has his stuff running in his garage. Still sounding great also.

    I still put the cover over this with the hole in the middle of it left open. Sounds good with it on or off.

    What functions of the DIC do you lose when you change the head unit?

    I don't miss any DIC functions at all- quite frankly, shoulda done it day 1
    Ok, if I had to pick so,etching I wish was there... Maybe outside temp

    So all that will be gone, to include the oil pressure?
    Or just the miles and crap on the right?

    what do the screens display? blank?
    the buttons then have no functionality?

    steering functions are retained as well as dash displays
