Listening to Pandora so listening to Put On by Young Jezzy. I'm more a rock person but felt like listening to Rap.

While I would most certainly oblige you, it would not be my first duty in the state.

Actually, it is not on the happiest of circumstances, but something several friends from home and I promised to do.

It would be October First that I would visit with a company of people from home. Regrettably, this would be the anniversary of the day a very dear friend that I grew up with, who was like a little sister to me was stabbed to death in an alley behind a theatre as she left. She had played Violin there that night and was attacked by two men who had robbed her of what money and valuables she had on her, leaving her there to die, still with her violin. She was later buried with it in a small corner of a small, isolated, familiar cemetery in Tobyhanna. Thus far, that has been the only time I have returned to Pennsylvania since I moved away and as many of my old friends and collective "family" had attended, it was not exactly the celebration that the music and dancing that evening may have led on.

The reason why this thread appeals to me so much is that Music has always been a very important and essentially spiritual part of my life. I have people like her to thank for that and my understanding of it.

Successful Chevrolet transit and midnight return trips on a wide open road, call for wide open throttle. This, in turn, calls for driving music.

Great old tune! War had a lot of good songs.

For me...today, nothing, but tomorrow...oh...tomorrow will be a take a long ride day. Just got a package with a return address of Dublin Ireland!

I heard the original Red Sovine song at work tonight and it reminded me of how long it had been since I listened to this album.

Either Classic Vinyl (XM; six month/25 dollars) or Aerosmith (in the CD player).

Re: What are you listening to?

Cover of the Rolling Stone. Wow, going back to 8th grade for me on that one. Great old tune.

You Ought To Know...wow again...wasn't that written about Dave Coulier (Full House) breaking up with her? (Shame on you Joey Gladstone)

Stingroo, after you posted the Gaelic Storm song the other night I kept clicking through about six others of theirs. Really enjoyed them until I got to this one.

    This one I loved!

I couldn't help but think of this.

It reminded me of my only weakness more powerful than 70's Cadillacs!
