For those of you who wanted titanium: Ichpen on the LS1Tech forums was just notified that titanium is now available. I assume that the $40 charge for their multi-layer powdercoating still applies.
Yep, confirmed. He didn't say anything about a $40 charge.
EDIT: Just ordered Titanium.

I may be in for a set of titanium as well. What is the max tire size that we can fit on the rear? I really want to be able to run a 295. Thanks for the info.
I don't think so. If anyone is anal about going too wide for a rim, its me.Originally Posted by FuzzyLogic
But my widened rear V1 rims were 9.25" and had 275s.
Stock V2 wheels are 285 on 9.5" rims.
10" rims should reasonably take a 295 and even a 305 tire.
I emailed Peter (this one went through, but haven't received answer) and left them a message on their answering machine. I'll be ordering the Platinum for my Silver V.
I considered gun metal for a sec, but I don't know how well the finish will wear, and dark rims make the wheels look smaller. Poop to that.
Does anyone have any pics of a 275, 285, 295 on a V? Post that $hit please. I'm guessing we'd need the Noodle trailing arms for that?
My 275/40 18 PS2s on 9.25" wheels fit just fine. Don't think I have any pics, though...
I have the 10" wide Linea Corse wheels from Wheeldude on the rear of mine with Continental Extreme Contact DWS 295/30zr19 tires and they work great. The car is lowered about 1" too. I think the shorter sidewall keeps them from rubbing. I did have a slight rub of the wheel on the trailing arm under extremely hard right turns, but one tiny touch with a grinder on the trailing arm and it's gone (gonna order Noodle trailing arms soon).
I put in an order for GOLD!
You guys are going to hate until you see it on the car. I think they are going to look mean.
