    looks ok but i still like your GTO FRCs better. the trashcan lid will always be a trashcan lid

    Yea, my kid said the same thing, but the paint on them did not turn out as well, they will get re-done in the same color and two-tone as the lid, with some clear on them as well, or I might be a 'hoe and sell them for the right price, lol.

    That actually looks really good.. Almost makes me want to resurrect my lid from the pile in back of my garage..

    They are the original ones off the cover. In one of my previous quotes, I very cafefully removed them and then re-applied them with some molding double sticky tape. Of course they were cleaned with some mothers mag wheel polish and then waxed before they went back on. The GM Perf badge is the large one from flebay.

    i have been thinking about doing something like this but don't want to kill resale value so I have held off

    That's why I found one from another member for like 40 bucks, the original one is siting nice and toasty in the attic for resale, if it comes to that, and I might have the GTO covers I had on there for sale.

    Very sharp....the red goes very well with the red wheel wells and such....great job....

    Tempted to make the same cuts to mine, and paint the same pattern using plasti-dip...
