    Keep in mind, his has a 500 CID motor

    Yep. You probably wouldnt overheat because you'd probably notice something is wrong but you would definitely be stranded.

    Got the rocker clearance issue solved. I put some -.060 locks on the valves and I now have clearance for the rockers. I also rebuilt the lifter, I didnt see any junk inside of it but hopefully it solves the lifter ticking sound.

    You can see the difference and the damage on the retainer.

    she looks great but it really needs the chrome rockers...looks bland without them.

    Eventually we'll work something out but you can sell them if someone has the money. I get to go back to work in three days, been off 10 weeks.

    LOL, thanks. Its because it was off the frame for a while and I was able to paint some stuff, and there is no heater box. Next time, paint what you take off, it stays cleaner and it makes it easier to find leaks.

    Did you have them powder coated, or did you just spray paint them?

    Spray paint with high temp engine paint.
