Today: buddy who was gonna help me with the motor mount was exhausted and being the OCD freak I am wanted to get it fixed before it screwed anything up. Paid $200 and it's fixed. I figure it's well worth it and I don't have any tools myself to get it done and everything is fine. Wheel hubs will be done this weekend as those don't require special tools.
Dropped it off at the dealership! There was a very small nick on the rear door when I took the delivery of the car, and they promised to fix it. My loaner car is a '11 Ford Fusion! Not very impressed! But didn't complain either! It is a very "meh" car! Really looking forward to get my car back!
Washed the Celebrity, she's been sitting outside for days, least i could do for her
My old LeSabre sold at auction on Tuesday. The dealer got out of it what they gave me ($900) and the new owner put it on craigslist for what I paid for it, $1100. How weird.
You know what will be really weird? If you buy it again for $1100!
He is supposed to sell it again to the dealership for $900! I like to be there and see his boss's face when Chad arrives in the same Lesabre and demands $900 for it!
We'll just call that car the boomerang, because it keeps coming back and coming back.
I did enjoy the way that car drove. It was completely old school in the way it rode, handled and steered. The fact that it was paid for and got 22-23 mpg in town was nice too, too bad it wasn't more dependable towards the end there.
Today I drove Rebecca to a small local car show, strictly as a spectator. 'Twas nice.
