    GM put billions into the small block segment, the northstar is now dead, its at its limits in my eyes...

    but caddy WILL be dead without a V8, caddy WILL be dead is the escalade doesnt come back as truck based....

    its just a fact..

    i cannot wait to hear more on the UV8..

    just took a 20 mile trip in my northstar and i got 23mpg the whole way in premium.

    so im tired of the same ole argument that v8s are some how un-efficient and a "strain on the planet", like a prius isnt? look at what it takes to make that huge battery.

    I really, truly don't see what the issue is with having a Chevrolet V8 under the hood of a Cadillac. It's been happening now for 20 years. And it's always worked.

    Hell, I've NEVER heard anyone complain about, or pass up a CTS-V because it has a "lowly" Chevrolet LS motor. It's just a pointless argument. I look forward to the new small blocks.
