61,000 Miles at time of purchase (May 2012)
$20,900 was Sticker price, also traded in 2002 Deville DTS w/ Bose OEM Nav w/ 123,000 miles and put some cash down.
Dealer delivered car to me ~90Miles 1-way with a full tank of gas and had dealer make some repairs before taking delivery.
(Needed driver side door foam seal, Radar Cruise needed repair - was non-functional, new under engine splash shield, new interior door handle - chrome flaking, new rear ashtray - door broken, new B pillar posts - 3/4 were dinged up)
I feel I got about $1,000-1,500 worth of work / repairs on the car at time of purchase.
Out of pocket I paid about $18k for the car, KBB at the time listed dealer retail at ~ $27k.
Purchased at a GM dealer that used to be a Caddy dealer.
Salesman / Finance guy about fell over on his desk when I said I wasn't going to buy their service contract with the car since I knew I could get better for less.
They wanted $4,000 for a contract that had a $200 deductible and was good for 2 years or 24,000 miles that covered select components of the drivetrain and select components of the electrical system.
I got a better one for $2,700 w/ $100 deductible for 3yr 36k or 48k not sure off the top of my head that covers basically everything except for a short list of 'things not covered', this type means that if its not on the list of non-covered items they will cover it, this also gets some of the non-covered items covered when they are needed to complete repair of a covered item.
Currently 71,000 Miles, KBB lists retail value at $26,500, with trade at $19,800.
Which is considerably more than I owe on the car and more than I paid in the end.
