Thats one sweet ride
Maybe it's just me, but it seems like you're missing the lower grill there; Otherwise the ride is sweet.
yeah it's missing the lower grill. hopefully i'll have it by the end of the week for the cost of shipping only!!
also just picked up a spare upper grill off craigslist for $10, yes $10, that i will be painting black to match the car.
Still not quite finished with the 'mod list' on the STS but getting close. Still needs tint (waiting for a weather strip replacement under warranty before scheduling) and trying to find a set of 'smoked' tail lights.
Here's what she looks like so far. Clean car and fresh pavement, love it!
looks good man, like the color
She won 2nd place in the Acura Luxury Wild category at the 2006 NOPI Nationals. Once the car owners had proof that the judging was not fair they stopped going. Once the cars stopped going the people stopped going. NOPI Nationals, the largest car show on earth, does not exist anymore.
Ok here is a pic of my 06 AWD V8 (sorry crappy iPhone pic!)
2005 cadillac sts fully loaded all that is done so far is 5% tints, HID fogs and led tag lights
Pics of my 2006 STS-V
My 1st was a 2002 Seville STS which I loved my 2nd is this blue 2006 and I love it more.
So far I have replaced EVERY interior light with white super bright SMT LED's; Low beam, high beam, and fog H.I.D.'s 6000k (Philips); White LED's in the reverse lights and little corner lights in the headlight assy; chrome rocker panels, pillar posts, and trunk lid; upgraded front fascia to 08-10 bumper cover with E&G fine mesh grill; and smoked 3rd tail light.
those interior and door led lights are nice, where they easy to change? will have to look into that myself.
They are VERY easy to change. I read alot of reviews on LEDs and apparently not all are equal. I read some bad things about autolumination and verybrightleds. I read good things about www.v-leds.com I got all of mine from there. I replaced every single inside light with white leds from them.
It didnt take me long at all. The only ones that are a PITA are the little wdge bulb in the headlights.
The front and back dome lights come right down. I just use my fingers to pull them down, but if you have big fingers you will need a flat screwdriver and a thick towel. You have to pull really hard at first and it makes a loud POP, but it is just the METAL clips popping out.
I had tried some LEDs from Pep Boys that were crap and not bright at all, so I have taken mine down 3 times and all of the clips are still 100% perfect.
The ones in the bottom of the doors are on a plastic piece that you just pop out with a flat screw driver. Same with the trunk. The lights by the driver and passengers feet you have to take 3 philips screws out then the panel comes down.
for the bottom of the door lights I used right angle leds that are all on one side facing down because thats how the bulb sits.
All of the interior lights are SUPER BRIGHT now.
