Not my Caddy, but a cool pic of a Caddy checking out another Caddy while cruising Huntington Beach...
Nice. Sweet 2 tone! Is that factory?
Beautiful Cadillac! Love the seats!
Two-tone combos were available in 1980. If you want to know if it's original to your car, check your car's data plate (on the cowl in front of the windshield on the driver's side) against the 1980 salesmans data book, which you can find on ebay. It'll tell you everything you ever wanted to know about your car.
The silver over dark grey was a popular two-tone combo back then, so I suspect it's original to your car.
I like the two-tone color.
Also the wheel covers. I believe they were a lower-level option, but very uncommon now.
I find it interesting your speedo is identical to my '79, except for the "55" added in.
I dont think that's original. It wouldn't have been painted like that. Two tone colors were painted following the body line into the fenders. Meaning the whole front hood was painted along with header and bumper L shape fillers,, top of fenders, top edges of doors (above crease line), top of car, top edges of rear quaters (above crease line), fillers too and above crease line on trunk. Also vinyl matched top color of car. If it is an original two tone, it'll be noted on the cowl tag under the driver side wiper arm. Also, two tone paint will follow into door jambs from factory, if it doesn't, then not factory.
I always loved the way the two tone follows on the hood like that. Grand Prix had that style too and always was a killer look IMO.
