(56K users beware!) JRau, you've inspired me! Finally got a few days of nice weather, and enough time for a good wash. What a miracle wet-sanding really is!

I agree, delete the mudflaps and tint the rear window so those speaker boxes? can't be seen

Superb Cadillac! - My unsolicited opinion, I like the custom touch with the wreath ornamentation on the mirrors - a genuinely nice appearance. The mudflaps clearly serve a good utilitarian purpose, too, (prevent rocks/gravel/salt/road tar) from accumulating. P.S. (I still owe you those close-ups of the rust on my '88. Just been too busy to go out and get them. Hopefully soon!) I truly admire your Brougham!

(56K users beware!) Looks great. I agree on the mudflaps, BUT you live in Minnesota, so their use is just a little too obvious
And the color scheme is still very unique, and in a custom or rare special edition kind of way. |

The mudflaps, I'll admit, could go, but anything above and beyond to keep the salt nazis from destoying my car in the winter time! 96Fleetwood, I'd love to get a good tint job, perhaps next summer if I can find a little cash. The black/light antelope was an attempt at something unique and different, I've gotten mixed opinions on that too, but I've never seen another Brougham like it! Thanks everyone! Chad, at the next meet, she'll take your breath away, you won't believe what a difference there is between now and the last time you saw! |

As for the mudflap flap; Okay, they ain't pretty, but if I have to do any extensive driving here in New England this winter, my 95 Fleetwood will probably get a set of 4.
They are pretty much a necessity around here in the winter. Any car with the slightest bit of "tuckunder" at the lowest part of the body, will be beat to hell by what the wheels kick up in wintertime. You'll be sandblasted in addition to the salt being driven into the lower parts of the body.
Now, if somebody would only come up with flaps that would snap on or off - like when you're taking photos - that would be perfect! |

I like the paint. Nice looking and a twist on the typical two tone paint. As for the mudflaps, I understand the usefulness of them. Believe it or not I have been thinking of putting them on my older cars. Here in the desert people are constantly watering there lawns, I am as guitly as the rest of my neighbors. Every intersection here in Palm Springs has water sitting in it. It is almost impossible to keep a car clean here. I have integrated flaps on my daily drivers and the seem to work well keeping it clean. I like the idea of removable flaps |

I'm glad you were inspired! Anytime we get one more car cleaned, that's a good thing! LOL!!
I would never have had the guts or skill to do any kind of paint or body work to a car, nor mechanical, for that matter!
I'm glad to see one of these with mudflaps. I usually put 'em on my vehicles, but I never got around to it on the Brougham. I'm not sure if I like them or not for this particular car. Fortunately, in bad weather, I can either borrow my son's car, or walk to work. Living only 1/2 mile away from work is NICE! I've walked to work in 0 degree weather so my "baby" wouldn't get slush and sand on her. Wife and co-workers think I'm a bit nutty on that...
Love the Loon, dude!
