Question 4.1L to 5.7L & suspension help..

hey all... new memeber on the caddy forum... i own a 85 fleetwood brougham coupe...my 1st caddy.. i love it... i did a house of kolor kandy rootbeer mixed with a kandy pagan gold paint job... looks nice... i have some 14" reverse offset wire wheels...i love everything about it, except the power... can anyone suggest an engine upgrade? i was speaking to someone the other day and they said i cannot do a 5.7L vette engine into my coupe... i need more power and i don't want to juice (nitrous) yet... what should i do?!?! pleaseeee help!! also, can someone suggest any suspension work for this caddy... it sit's low, but i want to be lower, without hydrualics or airbags...

Juicing a 4.1 is like juicing a lawn boy. As far as a vette engine anything is possible and it is doable. But your gonna have to do some research. If its gonna be fuel injected you gotta have a complete harness and the pcm.
Your probably better off going with a carbuerator. Try to find a newer brougham 90-92 as a donor car you could use everything off of this car, brackets, trans, driveshaft,etc... An olds 350 is also not a bad choice. Its more compatible with the trans and driveshaft in your car now. Thats what I did to my blue 85 coupe. Good luck!!! Post some pics... And welcome...
