Caddy has 120000 miles, clean well running awesome car,
I have located a thin (broken black line) in the body below driver seat, also there was a good 15 amp fuse sitting in the ashtray, perhaps from the compressor motor,
Please advise if you have any information on the level ride,
owners manuel has nothing on level ride.
Thanks in advance Oliver. |

Did you follow the black line to the rear and see if it hooks up to the shocks? |

Should I replace lines or try to repair severed line?
I read in another post that rear shocks last 80000 to 100000 miles,
I have spare time this afternoon going to tinker with Caddy,
HotRodSaint your car pics are awesome, my Caddy is black black tan interior,
Really glad I bought it, hope to have suspension fixed by this evening.
Thanks for info. |

But I would replace the affected line first. But then I always choose the cheap and lazy way to fix things. |

After tax 65.00 dollars for Gabriel Hijackers.
Took about one hour with my sons help.
Raised the car up just perfectly.
HotRod I think I will go ahead and disconnect the pump, just to play it safe, fuse was still good I think pump is dead car has 120000 on the clock, still runs strong, and looks great with proper suspension. |

After A While, It Sounded Like It Was Suffering Haha. So I Just Disconnected It.

That's normal for it to run often to keep itself level at all times, it just shouldn't run for a long period of time. The manual says 7 minutes is the limit you should notice that says there's a problem. I can tell by the ride that the shocks on our '93 are kind of worn, but they still pump up well and quick except for a few odd, really cold days here and there. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
