I think the whole 19 vs 20" issue is funny to be honest I bet 19 out of 20 people can't tell the difference between a 19" rim and a 20" rim...........
Your talking a .5 inch difference on each end which is virtually nothing.
Most people can't tell the difference between an 18" and 20" rim on a car. I've known lots of people that think the hondas they see on the street have 20's on them meanwhile it's always 17-18" rims on the jap cars.
Also most importantly the designs for 19" rims are soooooooo limited I'd never dare go for them.
Weight should also be a pound or two difference there's really no reason to go for a 19 inch unless you want to be able to say "I'm not riding on dubs their 19's " |

Suprisingly nice touch with the blacked out window chrome too, and those wheels are perfect for the car. |

But I think that style wheel would be absolutely T|T$ in 19".
A guy on the ISSF added full face AMGs from a Mercedes (I think?) in 19" and it was the perfect size IMO with the Fleetwood body shape.
Awesome looking tint by the way. Can't get away with that in my area, though... unless I was a celebrity like Ron White, LOL |
I have to second that motion!!! INCREDIBLE!!! Thanks for the information and education. |

Would you mind posting here or sending via message/e-mail the specs on your wheels. We know they are 20x9s ... but did you need a hub ring? What was the offset? Backspacing? Is there a noticeable lip on the rim?
Thanks

Only the 20x9 has a large enough center bore (20x8.5 were 3mm too small) and metal hub rings are in place. The offset is +15mm.
Here's a shot of the lip, and a link the the intro thread I promised: http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...ddys-pics.html

Ford part #1L2Z-7842528-NA, still available new from the dealer or on Ebay from time to time. |

Be sure to check the additional pics in the thread "a little about me and my Caddys", as well as the 2007 Calendar submissions.
CaddyCruiser is Correct!
It's a Ford emblem, as much as I hate to admit. But it does look cool though, and somehow, manages to appear appropriate on the car. It's a stick-on job- in case I tire of it, removal will be simple. I do prefer a car that is devoid of most ornamentation, multiple badges, emblems, etc. as evidenced by my shaved trunk.
Actually, I have several NOS sets of the ILLUMINATED crests from the FWD Fleetwood D-pillars that I am/was considering for this spot. But I got paranoid that it would be too "redundant though, since the same style is on the side of the roof also. Not that the casual observer would notice..... |

Bill Crovo, a guy who used to have a Fleetwood that was at one point identical to mine in color and wheels had put them there, and I've been considering them ever since. I too like the "cleaner is better" look, so I've held off, but might still get a set.
They certainly look gorgeous with the black |

Let me tell you, they are certainly worth the $$$$ premium. There is NO substitute for a smooth ride- esp. on a Cadillac! | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
