hello everyone i just purchased a 1966 Fleetwood B., its in great condition but needs some details worked out, i just finished fixing my wipers yesterday they were seized up from rust, they work like a charm now, anyway one thing I MUST get working is the radio, i hate driving without music,
My stock radio turns on and i can hear static in speakers no problem, but there is no change in static as I move it along the diferent bandwidths, the automatic antenna does not extend up or down, can someone tell me if there is button i need to press to get it to extend or should it have come on once i turn the radio on, ?? i got a feeling that the antenna is not hooked up properly...
Next thing i need to get working is the trunk release.. i was looking at the truck release button in the glovebox and it seems to be working on vacume lines, ? can someone tell me where in engine compartment do they originate, the release was working first few times than it stopped.
For some reason I think the trunk lock is not working cause I cannot get it opened using the key, looks like the previous owner in the past had same problems because someone has drilled a hole in the trunk lock.
i need to air the trunk out and dry it out cause the car was parked outside for a coulple of years....
