Use a trade #194. Look up under the top lip of the license plate holder. You will see a piece of clear plastic held on by two Phillips-head screws. Loosen them and the bulb housing will come off. Disconnect the bulb from the housing/wiring and replace. E-Z.

I used a red colored bulb from Peps Boys just so I could look more like a pimp.

Just called cadillac dealer they want $55 TO REPLACE A LICENSE PLATE BULB..LOL I REFUSE TO DO IT!! okok.....after u take the two phillips screws off, the plastic plate gets loose, but the metal in the middle that holds the plastic piece from falling out gets in the way of getting at the harness where the bulb or bulbs are? or do u pull the whole chrome frame off where the license plate is attatched too? thanks inadvance,Sal
