Just drove back from Florida to Wisconsin in the 1979 Sedan deVille d'Elegance. The car drove just perfectly and is a few hundred miles away from turning 70k. It also started perfectly this morning and the temp was 20 below zero F!
son of a bitch,my whole user name now doesnt make any sense anymore,damn the person who told me it was evergreen.its either sage green or aspen green,im going to check later.
Aspen green is really light - like a silver green. Sage green is darker. Don't worry about your user name since you still have a very rare color for that car!
It must be sage green,it is a very dark green.Im going to put up some pics as soon as i get my new bumpers on,i was rear-ended by a ford f-150 a couple months back and it wrecked the whole bumber and taillight assembly(trunk and fenders got away without a scratch) along with my front bumber,because the impact was so much that it shoved me into the car in front of me.Luckily my buddy has a old 88 brougham he's selling for cheap($800),so im going to pick that up and part it out for its bumbers and the dark wood grain interior pieces(i have the light woodgrain)once i pay my rent.Then you guys can see my beautiful SAGE green Brougham
yeah,ive always known it was pretty rare.Ive never seen another one,i thought i saw one in the background on a episode of Cops,and my buddy told me he saw one once,but i dont know. What would be really nuts is if someone had a way of finding out the production numbers for each color of each year,i know the information is out there somewhere.
I was able to get GM touch up paint at the local Buick dealer for my two '94 Fltwds. Light and Dark Adriadic Blue. The local auto parts and paint supply also had a listing for the paint in bulk.
I lost my 81 color chart so I don't know what color it is. My 81 Fleetwood Brougham Coupe is sort of a medium saddle or tan metallic. Need to find my 81 color chart or get another on eBay.
