I've found at least three different listings for my '94 FWB which is Light Driftwood, Mesa Brown or Frost Beige, depending on where I look. The original brochure lists Frost Beige as the correct color, but its all essentially a marketing thing.
How exciting! haha, told me what I wanted to know though. Never would've guessed how much info that sweet sticker had on it. Thanks for the help my friends. I'm loving this forum!
Well, my RPO has "74U", which, best I can figure from the RPO lists on the net, should be "Victory Red". So I got a Victory Red touch-up brush. Tried it on one little spot. Not even close. Victory Red is, well, like RED! My car is more of a bronze color. The vinyl top and the inside trim colors are "Dark Maple Red". I now am totally clueless. Any hints? Was there a "Dark Maple Red" exterior color in 1991? Thanks, Tom
Body colors for 1980 were:
Cotillion White
Platinum
Sable Black
Steel Blue
Superior Blue
Twilight Blue
Canyon Rock
Princess Green
Blackwatch Green
Colonial Yellow
Flax
Sandstone
Columbian Brown
Bordeaux Red
Saxony Red
and Norfolk Gray.
extra cost, buyers could have any of five Firemist colors:
Azure Blue
Desert Sand
Victoria Plum, sounds rich doesn't it
Sheffield Gray
or Western Saddle
AHA! I wrote to Cadillac customer service about my car's color. They researched it, and the response is that in 1991, the "74U" RPO code was called "Victorian Red", not "Victory Red". Perhaps now I might be able to find an accurate touch-up paint somewhere.
I was told the color of mine was called "Evergreen", and ive never seen one other than mine in real life, only on an episode of Cops. It's gonna really suck if thats not the actual name of that color, seeing as how its my user name.
Also, have any of you guys seen a dark green fleetwood brougham with a light green top?Ive heard its the rarest color, but i really dont know.
