New Guy with a 95 Fleetwood

Dropping in to say hi as I recently picked up my first Caddy, a 95 Fleetwood. There may be a couple folks on here that know my from from the GM Longroof and Impala SS Forums as I've been a rabid B-body owner since 2007 (13 wagons) and this is my first GM Sedan.

    cleanwheels1.jpg

My first mod was the chrome stockers. I think they set the car off so nicely. Next up some window tint and they soon it'll need a new top (cracking and peeling pretty bad).
Thinking of going old school on the top with white (parents had both a 68 and a 73 Sedan DeVille with a white vinyl top).

My Dad was a caddy guy owning a 60 flat top (see my Avatar for the tail fins), '68, and '73 Sedan DeVilles, and 1980 Coupe D'Elegance.

This car is just broken in with 141K on her and runs like a top.

As mentioned, it's my first GM sedan (only other sedan I've owned was the ex-wifes 1985 Lincoln). Raised in GM products, I've owned almost every GM marque now with numerous Chevies, a GMC, a Pontiac, half a dozen Oldsmobiles, and 5 or 6 Buicks. No Saturns, or Hummers though. All coupes, wagons, trucks, and the Pontiac Convertible. Look forward to contributing, and learning the differences between these and the B-bodies...

    Hi John

You may have changed your name, but we recognize you.

I put those same wheels on my Caddy, world of difference.

Very Nice. Here is my 1996, just prior to a boat trip. You can just make out one of the bumper fins on my 1968 DVC in the background.

Well somebody on here stole my name, lol.

96 Fleetwood, this makes my 14th 'modern' B/D too , 15th if you count the 1973 Pontiac GranVille 'vert I had back around 1992.

Yes, it's pretty clean, needs a couple of little odds and ends. Also it looks like the passenger rear had a blowout at one point as the sheet metal is not straight there.

You probably know "96 Fleetwood" too, from ISSF. You've seen his car. He sold it to Richard Snipes of Jax. It's been with us to Daytona at least twice.

Hi. Nice car! Do you know the make and model of the hitch receiver on the car? I'm looking for a heavier duty hitch than the one currently available from Draw-Tite (75146) which seems to be the only hitch currently available for the car.
