    Bro-Ham,

Thanks once again for all the detail. I've learned a lot in just a few weeks. 77-79,80 sure sound much simpler relating to climate control. This knowledge is really valuable to me going forward. I'm not sue what is going on with the 77 Green. Its still very cold here, low of -2 tonight, really unusual for this time of year. I think seller is stalling for warmer weather to show and drive car.

I'm liking the 77-79, 80 models more and more.

Seller emailed me additional attached 5 photos this afternoon. Photos were taken January 18th. Concerning back interior photo, is the rear window (over trunk) interior trim missing, seems odd to me? Please feel free to critique all the pictures. Do you know what GM code 49 Edinburgh Green looks like? could this be Edinburgh Green?

Cool car - do some dickering. Steering wheel has a cover on the rim so the original wheel underneath has probably lost its trim.

As for the color, if you look at the forum FAQ's near the top of your screen you can find a link to a thread about colors. Look on page 2 or 3 to see the actual color chart from Cadillac with paint chips.

Concerning the 77 Green - I believe the seller told me that he recently replaced the carburetor. From what I have read 2 versions of the 425 were available in 1977, a carbureted and a fuel injuected. The carburetor was 180HP and fuel injected was 195HP. Some literature suggests that limousines had only the carbureted 180HP, is this true?

Limousine only had carburetor in 1977-80.

Just go t off the phone with the seller of the 77 Green. He sold the car. Seems awfully odd to me! He kept putting me off on making trip to inspect and drive the car. He never really answered my questions about the car. Each time I would try to schedule with him, he would blame the weather for being unable to arrange a time. Oh well, I was looking forward to inspecting and driving one. Maybe its a blessing indisguise. I'm on the lookout for the next one and now am armed with some knowledge I didn't have before.

Thanks James Powers. I contacted seller of 80 about 2 weeks ago. Car has swapped 426 Eldorado engine and drive train. It had a bar in the back that was removed and jump seats were added, they look like a different color. Funny that the sent me all pictures you posted with the exception of the jump seats. $8,000 for a car with a swapped engine and drive train?

This was the same car? I thought it was a different one. Oh well......

That was the 79 wasn't it? That was something like 5 grand.
